Dr. Darrell Jackson
is the director of the
Nova Research Centre
for research and innovation in mission in Europe
at Recliffe College. He
joined the faculty there in April 2007 and teaches European Studies and Eastern Orthodoxy
. He is a visiting lecturer at the ITBS in Prague, and writes regularly for mission journals and the Christian press. Darrell is a lecturer in European Mission and holds a Th.D. (Missiology), BA (Hons) and a Diploma in Pastoral Studies, HND.
An ordained Baptist Minister, Darrell has worked as mission advisor to the Baptist Union of Great Britain and more recently as Researcher in European Mission for the Conference of European Churches, based in Budapest. He holds a doctorate from Birmingham University and researches aspects of missional congregations. He is married to Beth, with a son and a daughter, and enjoys ice-climbing, walking and free weekends. Darrell writes the
European Mission
blog.
Darrell will address a plenary session at HOPE•II helping the audience to 'face the facts' about Europe today. He will also be involved as a resource person in congress consultations on church planting, research and education.
